How Do We Increase Our Team’s Salary?

After the scheduled performance review, we can also assist in conducting your team’s salary review/appraisal. The amount of a particular salary increase may be selected from within pre-established salary ranges and guidelines. For most of our clients, it is greatly dependent on their future business plans (or projected revenues). All salary appraisals should be approved by our clients prior to implementation.

 

Below are some of our recommended guidelines on how to implement a salary review.

Merit Base Increase: We use a performance evaluation scorecard during staff performance and salary reviews. Their salary increase will be based on the scores they received. Kindly see the table below for more details:

0 to 2.49 0%
2.50 to 2.99 2 to 3%
3.00 to 3.99 4 to 5%
4.00 to 5.00 6 and above%

 

Across the Board: If you wish to give the same rate for all employees, we suggest this option. This option mainly covers the average inflation rate for the previous year. The Philippines’ average inflation rate is published by the Central Bank of the Philippines annually, every February.

 

Industry Realignment: Our HR can assist and provide us with a study on the current labor market offers for a particular role, which may be helpful in planning for the Team's salary review.
