Note the following guidelines on work hours and payroll.
- Maximum number of work hours per week: 48 hours (6 working days with 1 rest day) or 1 rest day after 6 consecutive working days. Note that the 6-day work week is not a common practice especially in the BPO industry.
- Maximum number of work days - 6 days
- Schedules may vary depending on your requirements.
- Anything in excess of 8 hours is considered overtime and must be compensated.
- Employees working from 10PM-6AM are entitled to an additional 10% of their hourly rate called Night Shift Differential (NSD).
- Employees working on holidays are entitled to a holiday premium.
All employees may be required to report for work on holidays depending on the business needs.
