GOVERNMENT-MANDATED BENEFITS
13th Month Salary - Additional pay which is equivalent to 1/12 of the employee’s salary. It must be released on or before December 24 of each calendar year or upon employee’s separation from the company
SSS - Provides employees with loan facilities and maternity, health, retirement, and disability benefits
Pag-IBIG - National savings program which seeks to provide affordable housing financing for employees
PhilHealth - Insurance which provides financial support for healthcare services
Retirement Benefit - Given to employees with at least five (5) years of uninterrupted service and a minimum age of 60 years
Maternity Leave - Female employees, regardless of employment or civil status, are given 105 calendar days of maternity leave to be given for each live childbirth, regardless if normal or CS delivery. They are also allowed to extend to a maximum of 30 days with written notification at least 45 days prior the end of maternity leave. If the reason for the extension is medical emergency, the 45-day prior notification period shall not apply but subsequent notice shall be required. An additional 15 days is also given to solo parents. In case of miscarriage or emergency termination of pregnancy, the female employee is given 60 calendar days of maternity leave. The employee may also allocate up to 7 days of the 105 maternity leave to the child's father or alternate caregiver. SSS will pay part of the employee’s salary during maternity leave while the remaining salary is charged to the client. Since SSS only covers up to the 4th pregnancy, the full salary will be billed to the client from the 5th pregnancy onwards.
Solo Parent Benefits - Employees who rendered service of at least one year are entitled to a parental leave of up to seven (7) working days every year
Paternity Leave - Married male employees are given seven (7) days of paternity leave.
Magna Carta Leave - Additional Leave for Women - 60-day paid leave for women who undergo surgery caused by gynecological disorders; 10-day paid leave for those who are victims of physical, sexual or psychological violence
COMPANY-INITIATED BENEFITS
Medical and Life Insurance: Normally linked to the health insurance provided by the government
Paid Time Off (PTO): Can be applied as sick leave or vacation leave
Please note that employees with at least one year of service and who are separated from the company due to resignation, end of contract, just cause or authorized cause (i.e. retrenchment, redundancy) will be entitled to cash conversion of up to five (5) PTO credits.
Bereavement Assistance: 1-3-day paid leave and cash assistance depending on the relationship between the employee and the deceased family member
Loan Facility: Pre-approved loans through MicroSourcing’s partner banks
EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITIES
Company-wide: MicroSourcing has an Employee Engagement team that organizes programs for the entire year – Kickoff Party, Summer Outing, Halloween Event, Customer Service Week, etc.
MicroClubs: MicroSourcing has employee clubs that cover various interests - travel/nature, sports, arts, dance, volunteering. The clubs also organize activities that are sponsored by the company.
Account- or Site-based: The Operations Team conducts annual town hall meetings and monthly engagement programs to provide employees a venue to relax, have fun, and promote work-life balance.

These courses are facilitated by MicroSourcing’s Learning and Development (L&D) Team. The L&D Team provides holistic learning and development opportunities and solutions at individual, team, and organizational levels. They coordinate a range of learning and development opportunities for MicroSourcing to ensure that employees have the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities for effective job performance.
