What is MicroSourcing’s Business Continuity Plan (BCP)?

MicroSourcing adopted a business continuity response to ensure minimal impact and services disruptions. This includes, but not limited to, organizing Emergency Response Teams per site and issuance of updates to clients.

In case of typhoons and heavy rains, MicroSourcing provides the following:

  • Free food
  • Sleeping area or sleeping bags

The client can provide additional provisions such as:

  • Transportation allowance
  • Attendance incentive
  • Transportation arrangement - we will need some lead time to arrange for this
  • Hazard pay

Please coordinate with your Account Manager regarding these provisions so we can make the necessary arrangements.

Since these are emergency situations, our priority to ensure the safety of the staff. Once we have secured the team and everything is clear, we will send a report to the client with the following information:

  • Incident description
  • Time - when the incident started and ended
  • Impact on operations
  • Recommendation

Specific responses have been documented on how to respond to:

  • Typhoon and Heavy Rains (Monsoons)
  • Fire Emergencies
  • Earthquakes

MicroSourcing Client

Send notifications and updates to the client with the following details:

  • Current status
  • Impact on operations
  • Recommendation

Coordinate with the staff regarding their whereabouts.

Send attendance notifications and staff status to the client.

Make a decision based on MicroSourcing's recommendation.

The client has the option to:

  • Allow staff to work from home
  • Cancel operations
  • Proceed with BAU with whoever can report for work

 

For Emergency Response, MicroSourcing will do the following:

Employees on site are required to follow these emergency procedures:

  • Drop-cover-hold in case of earthquake
  • Immediate evacuation in case of fire
  • Evacuation is done after the initial shake during earthquake
